kiln-dried logs are specific logs used for firewood. They are 'kiln dried' in a controlled oven environment for to get rid of excess moisture. Drying the wood in this way makes it easier to light and burn. It also means the burn is 'cleaner' (less smoke and consistent heat).
Yes. All of our logs are kiln dried to below 20 percent moisture content, making them suitable for immediate use in wood burners, log stoves, and open fires. Properly dried wood removes the frustration often caused by damp or low-quality logs.
Our supply kiln dries logs for a minimum of five full days, and up to seven days during colder, damp winter conditions. Logs are loose-stacked in crates to allow proper airflow, dried at controlled temperatures, and carefully monitored throughout the process. After drying, they are left to cool before packing to prevent condensation and mould.
We kiln dry our logs to ensure a moisture level of below 20%. Even a slightly higher moisture content can mean less efficient burning, more smoke and more difficulty lighting.
We are a Lancashire based company and we deliver both locally and nationwide. Local delivery prices are calculated at checkout. Delivery outside our local area is £20 flat rate online. However, please give us a call as we will do our best to offer you a better rate over the phone.

Yes. We supply both domestic customers and businesses, including schools, pubs, hotels, nursing homes, restaurants, and log stove companies. Competitive trade pricing is available for businesses looking for reliable, high-quality firewood.
We vet our supply carefully, choosing wood only from responsibly managed forests. Our firewood is both FSC and Rainforest Alliance certified. We also choose suppliers that properly dry our wood to less than 20% moisture. During the drying process, the logs are consistently monitored inside the kiln using embedded wire sensors. There is no automated shut off: our logs are checked by real people for optimal drying. Our logs are also left to cool completely before packing to reduce the risk of mould.

We understand that the way firewood is stored and dried has a huge impact on how it burns. For our logs, adequate space is maintained between log crates before they're placed into the drying kiln. Some suppliers pack their kilns too full, which doesn't allow good heat and air circulation. Our suppliers loosely stack the log crates and maintain 20-30cm spaces between them for even moisture extraction. You can find out more about our kiln drying process here.
