Large Bag of Kiln Dried Logs Delivered Straight into Your Log Store (Loose Volume Equivalent 0.08m3) Dimensions 60 x 38 x 25 cm - £12.50 if COLLECTED FROM STORE

These large size bags are large enough to still offer great value for money, but small enough to be carried by our delivery drivers direct to your log store, making them our most popular bag size by far.  Buy large bags of Kiln Dried Logs and avoid the struggle of moving logs yourself - i.e. whenever you have a bulk bag, pallet or crate delivery.

Kiln Dried Hardwood Logs are our highest quality and best performing logs, and are ideal for burning on any wood burning appliance alone, or alongside other solid fuels. These logs are often used in wood burning stoves, multi-fuel stoves, pizza ovens, chimineas or traditional open fires.

Kiln Dried Logs have a moisture level of less than 20%, so they can be burnt immediately. These logs will burn at a high temperature, and with a long and natural flame.

Why our wood is different from local suppliers

More often than not the local made firewood is either fresh or seasoned wood. Fresh wood can hold up to 60% moisture (water) depending on the time of year and seasoned can mean anything from 60% moisture down. For wood to be seasoned to a moisture of 20% or less can take anything up to 3 years kept in a dry building. Our logs are all less than 20% moisture.

Wet wood or wood containing a high moisture does not burn properly or even at all, is very difficult to light, does not burn very hot and can soot or tar wood burners or flues, causing very expensive repairs and chimney fires. Wet or very damp wood also causes dark smoke and extra polution to the atmosphere. Wood burning heating systems can be very expensive to buy. The only wood guaranteed to burn correctly is kiln dried hardwood.
